As the student bloggers constantly increase in our school, a pleasant surprise took place last week when I had a Twitter discussion with Henrick Oprea (EFL teacher in Brazil), which led us to agree that the CAE and CPE students of his school and ours should exchange comments under their recent posts.
This is, in essence, a new blogging challenge between Greece and Brazil, just like the Edublogs one our student bloggers joined in October 2009.
The whole concept is, in fact, very intriguing, not simply because students' increased blog traffic will be the perfect boost to their confidence and will to blog, but also because this circulation of culturally and socially related ideas and information will enable learners in both parts of the world to familiarize themselves with difference, multiculturalism and plurality of identity in the best manner possible.

1) Explore useful links.
- First of all, students should read this blog post by Vicki Davis 'How to comment like a king or queen' explaining how one can comment in the most effective way possible.
- This slideshow on 'Kids' comments and blogs' could also be helpful in fulfilling the 'mission' of leaving a purposeful comment on another student's thoughts.
- Even more relevant information is gathered on our wiki page entitled 'Tips for teacher and student bloggers'.
2) Visit the following blogs maintained by students in Brazil.
3) Choose an interesting post.
4) Leave a comment underneath by following the rules prescribed in Vicki Davis' article.
Now let's see who can comment like a king or queen!
