What an amazing experience it has been for all teachers and students! Exchanging comments with Henrick Oprea's students in Brazil, as explained in a previous post, has enabled the students involved to get a true sense of what a global audience is and the important role it plays in students' developing their language as well as communication skills.
Here are a few samples of the interaction that took place between Greek and Brazilian learners. Hopefully, plenty more comments will appear, stemming from other parts of the world, too. Any student blogger who would like to contribute to the following online discussions is more than welcome to do so and subsequently add the link to his/ her blog.
First of all I want to invite your readers to visit my blog, secondly I've posted something about the blogosphere have a look at on http://englishtips-self-taught.blogspot.com/2010/08/into-blogosphere.html Have a nice weekend all you live on the left side of my heart, dear teachers. ReplyDeleteHello Carlos and thanks for the links! We will all take a look. Take care!
ReplyDeleteHello Christina,
ReplyDeleteThe blog challenge and all the commenting seem to have worked well this first week. Let's how it'll go from now on. :)
Cheers,
Henrick
Of course commenting will continue, as part of my students' homework this time! Blogging and generally using the Internet for educational purposes is something that all students should do, not only in the classroom, but also as part of their study routine at home (hopefully! :)
ReplyDeleteEagerly waiting to see 'Blogging challenge: Part 2',
Christina
