DESCRIBING PLACES: AN ASSIGNMENT

This is a simple writing activity that followed the blog activity the FCE group did a few weeks ago to enhance their writing and speaking skills concerning the description of various places which commonly forms a Cambridge exam topic. Here are Michael Christodoulakis' paragraphs about two of the pictures included in the blog post that was under discussion in class. The reason for posting this assignment is to show to  the present and future FCE students how a learner's use of language can evolve and vividly communicate all kinds of messages, simply by employing a pleasantly different array of words and structures.
