What you see is a vocabulary calendar on which students of all levels can record 30 or 31 words they learnt in a particular month. More specifically, they choose the words they consider more useful or difficult to remember and provide an example sentence of their own.
Most importantly, this way of consolidating vocabulary results in personal involvement (through the choice of the words or phrases to be included) and encourages learners to use the dictionary or the Internet to verify the proper use of each vocabulary item. Moreover, students need to fill in a sentence every single day of the month, which ensures not only personal but also continuous involvement in the learning process.
