D' Class students who have already read on their coursebooks about the different countries of the United Kingdom and their customs can click on the picture and then on the area of the map they wish to learn more about its top attractions, local festivals, outdoor activities, etc. Don't forget to take a glance at the interesting video section, too.

Cheese Rolling in the Cotswolds: a really strange event to watch!

Cheese Rolling is a legendary event that takes place in May each year at Cooper's Hill, near Gloucester, in the Cotswolds, England's South West. Utter mayhem ensues as competitors throw themselves downhill, chasing a round cheese. The first person over the finishing line at the bottom of the hill wins the cheese - Double Gloucester, naturally. Cheese Rolling has been going for hundreds of years, but its origins are mysterious.
